A Gallery portrait may be commissioned of your own pet or even of yourself portrayed as your favorite animal. The Renaissance theme that runs through my Gallery Series does not need to be reflected in your own personal portrait commission.

 

The portrait painted for you, will represent the connections between Relationships, Personalities and your own personal Life Style within your family unit.

 

Your Portrait would be  painted on ½” thick hard wood panel and may be executed in mixed media such as  oil, water based, resin and Metal-based paints and leaf. It is then finished with a multi-layer resin coating that gives it a high gloss Ceramic-like surface with tremendous depth. No glass is used when framing.

 

Prior to an initial interview the client is asked to complete an extensive Questionnaire explaining their unique relationship with the pet and family members. When possible, the artist would like at least one personal visit with the pet and owners in their home or on location if a location is requested, to take more reference photos and gather any additional information. A photo check list sheet will also be provided for the owner to use as a guide  for providing important information for execution of the portrait.

  The artist may request further information or photos during the design process. The “cartoni” or working sketch will be provided to the client for composition approval prior to executing the actual painting.

 

The amount of time needed to complete a commission will vary depending on the artist's schedule. Upon first interview a time frame will be discussed.

Terms: 30% deposit is requested upon commitment to execute the cartoni. Upon signed approval of the cartoni and color and finish description, an additional 30% will be requested to execute the commission. Balance due upon completion and delivery of the finished work. Frame may be chosen in advance of commencement to allow for it to be part of the composition. Prices subject to additional fees where applicable.
